At Southern International School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, respected and supported.

Our Safeguarding Team is led by Ms Zoe (Designated Safeguarding Lead), supported by Mr Matty, Mr Tom and Ms Thanya (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads). Together, they ensure the highest standards of care and protection across our school.

We promote a strong safeguarding culture where everyone plays a role. Through clear policies, regular training and open communication, staff are equipped to respond to concerns, and students feel confident to speak up.

Our procedures are robust and proactive, including safer recruitment, ongoing staff training and collaboration with external agencies where needed. We focus on identifying concerns early to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

We work closely with parents to support student wellbeing and maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
